Submit content or article ideas

While we try to catch everything in the campus, things can accidentally slip through the cracks. The Colonnade welcomes all article ideas and event information. Submit article ideas or event information to [email protected]. The Colonnade cannot guarantee coverage for all ideas and events. Event information should be sent two weeks PRIOR to the event.

Please send press releases as attachments to [email protected]. All content will be edited for grammar, spelling and punctuation. Content will be printed at the discretion of the Editor in Chief.

Letter to the editor

The Colonnade encourages readers to express their views and opinions by sending letters to [email protected]. Letters may also be sent via Facebook to The Colonnade’s profile.

All letters must be typed and include:

  • your name
  • address or email address
  • telephone number
  • year of study and major
  • title (if your are not a student).

Only your year and major (or title) will be listed.

Unsigned letters will not be printed. Letters longer than 300 words may be condensed. All letters will be edited for grammar, spelling and punctuation. All letters become property of The Colonnade and cannot be returned. The Colonnade is not able to acknowledge the receipt of letters. Letters will be printed at the discretion of the Editor in Chief.

Submit corrections

The Colonnade is dedicated to its mission of providing strong, accurate coverage of news and life at GCSU since 1924.

However, in the event that we do make a mistake, it is our journalistic responsibility to correct the error and set the record straight. So if at any time you find an error in our print or Web edition, do not hesitate to let us know. We will immediately run a correction in our next issue, as well as correct the error online.
