The relationship between most GCSU students and Tina Collette is an uncomfortable one, at best. Most simply know her as the “parking ticket lady,” and the nature of her position as downtown Milledgeville’s parking enforcement officer earns her few friends in the 18-to-25-year-old age bracket.

With natural forests and large lakes surrounding Milledgeville, students can enjoy being active in nature. Some students flock to tap these resources and participate in something they love – hunting and fishing.

Art Tank splatters creativity on campus

No matter what subject a student is majoring in everyone could use a bit more art. A group of students at GCSU calling themselves the Art Tank wants to make sure that every student has an opportunity to experience and to create art. The Art Tank allows members to immerse themselves in art even if those students are pursuing a degree in something else.

Liberal studies major allows for customization

GCSU provides students with the opportunity to build their own major. The liberal studies major allows students to combine majors and courses to create a unique major all their own.

Some students are hesitant about the liberal studies major because of its broad spectrum of courses.

Student binge drinkers focus on good feelings, ignore reprucussions

Pink Panty Pulldown, Blue Mother F*****, Buttery Nipple, Fuzzy Navel, Leg Spreader, Naked Barbie, $3 Hooker, Call A Cab, Rambo Tears, Rabid Pitbull and A-Rang-A-Tang may sound strange but they are common terms to some bartenders and drinkers.

But these are more than words; they are shots and cocktails that deliver a potent dose of alcohol.

Catching the campus Frisbee craze

Students are continuing to flock to Front Campus to play Frisbee. Disks are being launched over heads, under legs and in between trees. Frisbees can be seen flying through the air not only during daylight, but also after dusk. Sometimes students even play during rainstorms.
