The largest freshman class to attend GC enters its dorms and classrooms, students arrive from all over Georgia

The Napier Hall community rooms can be quickly taken over by a large study group of freshmen from various majors.

The start of the 2012-2013 Georgia College school year marks the entrance of the biggest freshman class in the school’s history. The freshman class consisting of 1,295 students is in contrast to previous freshman classes that have never gone above the cap of 1,200. Volleyball takes fifth in playoffs at USC

On Saturday, Nov. 5, the Georgia College club volleyball team competed in a tournament at the University of South Carolina and tied for fifth place out of the 13 teams attending.

College looks for new Thunder to roar

Four students auditioned for the position of the Georgia College mascot in the Centennial Center. SGA hopes to add two to three new members to represent Thunder.

On Sept. 21, a number of students put on the Georgia College bobcat suit to take their chances at becoming the next Thunder, the official GC mascot.
