Plummeting participation in the Student Opinion of Teaching surveys over the past three semesters has raised concerns among faculty. The surveys, which serve as a primary evaluation method for professors and their teaching models, have suffered an approximate 40 percent drop in participation since their transition online in Spring 2009.
