Editor’s Pick Nov. 5
This is something new I’m going to start doing for each issue. I’m going to pick what I feel is the best written article and talk about it. If there are multiple good ones I will give them fair treatment. This is intended as a pat on the back to those writers who go the extra mile in their reporting and writing.
For this week my pick is “Virgins and veterans: Third annual Rocky Horror Picture Show performance brings in a mixed crowd for its traditional Halloween weekend event” by Aubrie Sofala. You can find it here
The article starts off with a great description along with the basic information. Aubrie also mentions how it’s important because it’s the last time Pratt will be directing the show. She goes on to give great background of the show at GCSU. Aubrie then gives some info on the show and how preparation for it. Then Aubrie does a great job placing you at the scene and talking about how the audience was reacting to the show. Then she shows how the show is for actors and students to do. Finally she ends with a reference to Pratt’s show and a quote that makes you picture Pratt walking off into the sunset. Overall a really great article!
Props to Aubrie for Nov. 5.
