Day Two.

Hello again!

Today’s production day, kind of. Since most of the articles have been edited we’re going to be working on laying out the paper and deciding the main packages and stories. Yesterday we came up with the front page idea so it’s being worked on as I type.

Right now all the editors except Mandy and Drake are here working. Scotty, the sports editor, has been calling and interviewing a ton of people. Of course this interrupts our Pandora music (Goo Goo Dolls station today). Katelyn’s (news editor) been going through all our emails. We get A MILLION junk messages a day. Okay so maybe not a million, but it feels like it. Rebecca, our person with so many titles—designer, community news editor, assistant news editor— is working on the community news section and the front page.

Our whole paper has been redesigned since you last saw it. Of course if you haven’t seen it, then you won’t know the difference. It should look a lot better. We’re also upgrading the paper quality so it should even feel or look better!
