We’re back!

Hey guys!!

We’re back in town! Our first issue comes out on Friday so these next three days will be crazy!! On Mondays our ad manager, Claire Childs, finalizes all the ads (while freaking out) and gives them to me so I can pick the paper size and make the section sizes.

Here’s Claire. And to prove her freaking out, her exact quote when this was taken.

“I don’t need that right now, I don’t need that in my life.”

At 12:30 today we’ll have our editors meeting where all the staff gets together and talk about what will be going in the issue. Then we spend the afternoon editing articles before sending them to our copy editor to look over for tomorrow. Usually we have a meeting at 5 p.m. to assign stories, but since school hasn’t started we’re not doing that. Our first meeting won’t be until August 23.
