Fast freshmen provide bright future for GCSU cross country
Five new freshmen joined the GCSU cross country team from across the state of Georgia in 2008. Each one was a key element in the team’s great success this season. High school men’s cross country races are only five kilometers long, but in college the races are increased to eight-kilometer and ten-kilometer races.
’80′s on the 8th’ brings spirited fans to Centennial Center
The GCSU men’s basketball team will host “80s on the 8th” Dec. 8 as it takes on Carver Bible College at 7:30 p.m. in the Centennial Center.
