GIVE Center Moment:

The ONE Week Campaign is a project seeking to raise awareness and action towards world hunger and poverty on campus. The campaign will run Nov. 16-22. Multiple organizations will be supporting ONE, such as The GIVE Center, Hands on Milledgeville, Gamma Sigma Sigma, and Art Tank. As a national organization, ONE seeks to end hunger and make poverty history. The GCSU committee organizing the week represent the voice of various organizations.

As Missy Granish, a servant leader for ONE, says, “Poverty is a problem everywhere from Milledgeville to Africa. Many of the events from ONE Week will go to support people from Milledgeville as well as people from around the world.”

For more information students can email one.gcsu@gmail.com, visit the “GCSU ONE Week” facebook group, or go to one.org.
