Athlete of the week: Jamie Nevin

The GCSU Athletic Department has named Jamie Nevin, an All-PBC midfielder for the soccer team, its athlete of the week for the week ending Sept. 7.

She became the Bobcats’ all-time assist leader on Friday against Tusculum. With assists on both goals in that game, she pushed her total as a Bobcat to 13.

Nevin is the type of player every soccer team should have to be successful. A silent assassin, she controls the buildup of attacks and finds the open teammate with the best scoring chance, time and time again.
