A Response to “Why is there always a ‘black table’ at Sodexho?”
The column “Why is there always a ‘black table’ at Sodexho?” was written as strictly an observation of the segregation that still exists today. Many students of all nationalities find themselves questioning why people congregate within their comfort zone. It is true that anyone would want to feel accepted and welcomed, and perhaps that is within your same race. During this month of Black History, though, we have been boggled down with historical information of equality for all, desegregation, and all that applies. The Columnist is trying to ask why we have come so far regarding equality in laws, yet, still find ourselves purposefully segregated.
