The Colonnade participates in GCSU Spring Fest

Saturday, March 2 was Spring Fest at Georgia College where prospective high school seniors and juniors come to tour the campus. The Colonnade had a booth set up in the marketplace of all other student organizations. We were pleased at the number of students who were interested in working for The Colonnade. Not only did we receive people who wanted to write, we also received students interested photography, advertising, and public relations. Informational materials were handed out on how to stay in touch with The Colonnade including our instant messenger name, ColonnadeVent, The Colonnade Facebook group, our Letters to the Editor email, colonnadeletters@gcsu.edu, and our web address. Thank you to those who stopped by The Colonnade table. We hope that Spring Fest brought us many talented writers, photographers, advertisers, and people interested in public relations.
