As the defending Peach Belt Conference Coach of the Year, Ginger Miller, GCSU’s head softball coach, has established a new era in Lady Bobcat softball.
The Peach Belt Conference (PBC) board of directors and Commissioner Marvin Vanover have announced that USC Aiken will be the host school for the 2008 and 2009 men’s and women’s basketball tournaments.
The men’s basketball team gave it their all on senior night Wednesday, but were defeated by Columbus State University (CSU) 87-81.
Although the Lady Bobcats softball team started off with a very strong season record, they fell a little flat last Sunday in their double header versus University of Alabama in Huntsville.
The GCSU baseball team’s first six games were about as cold as the Georgia weather. The Bobcats lost three of their first six games, dropped seven spots in the polls, then had two key starters injured.
