Eight hundred and fifty-four fans of both teams stood, shook, and screamed as junior forward Jay Warren added the thump in the first half with 10 points, two assists and a dunk to help the Bobcats advance to a 39-25 lead.

The GCSU bobcats dropped their third straight conference game to Augusta State University 83-70 in front of a buzzing home crowd in Centennial Center.
The Bobcats came out and responded to the home crowd energy by jumping out to a 4-0 lead in the first minute of the game with a rebound from senior guard Aaron Gibbs and turnovers from ASU to set up two jump shots from junior forward Levert Carter.

The GCSU Lady Bobcats basketball team (11-3, 2-1 PBC) continued their dominance at home by beating Augusta State University (8-5, 0-4 PBC) 55-46 in a Peach Belt Conference game at the Centennial Center Wednesday night.
GCSU has proven to be too tough on their own court where they have started the season 5-0.
