Students can still get baked out on the Front Campus lawn, even with the weather moving towards cooler temperatures. How can students get baked without 95 degree weather? By Student Government Association, of course! This Halloween, Tuesday October 31, from 12 p.m. until 2 p.m., SGA is sponsoring a huge “baked” goods contest. All recognized student organizations can enter their best baked desserts while also advertising for their RSO. Does your RSO need more members? Be part of the SGA’s “Baked” on the front lawn event to get your name out to the students of GCSU. Judging will start at 12 p.m., and trophies will be given to the winning groups. Free baked goods will be available to all students, so come out to front campus and get “baked”! Contact Ailya Zaidi at Ailya_Zaidi@
ecats.gcsu.edu to register your RSO today!
In other SGA news, three new Registered Student Organizations were made official this past Wednesday by SGA. Two of the new RSOs, Georgia Association of Young Children (GAYC), and Future High School Educators (FHSE) are RSOs that focus on education, while the third RSO, Transfer Student Association (TSA), is geared towards any transfer students here at GCSU. Various transfer students have wanted to know more about the ins and outs on and around campus, and TSA is the RSO to join. Keep the “Baked” on the front lawn event in mind, and come out and show off your RSO, or come and get free food. See you then!
