Student doesn’t know own strength, window gives
April 6, 1:09 p.m.: Physical Plant employees reported that they were replacing a window that had been broken at Foundation Hall. Contact was made with the occupant of the room, who advised that her boyfriend, a student, had broken it. Officer Self spoke with the boyfriend, who admitted to knocking on the window when it broke. The case was turned over to the RA for further action.
Officer cracks down on loud music
April 12, 7:30 p.m.: An officer issued a citation for Loud Music at the intersection of Clarke and Charlton Streets.
April 12, 8:15 p.m.: An officer issued a citation for Loud Music at the intersection of Columbia Street at Fishing Creek.
Drunkards put up resistance, end up jailed
April 7, 1:29 a.m.: Officer Williams observed three people at the intersection of Thomas and Wilkinson Streets with open containers. Officer Williams got out of his car and one of the suspects ran. Officer Self captured the subject. Of the two subjects that remained at the scene, one was uncooperative in identifying the subject who ran. The subject that ran was arrested and charged with Obstruction of Police and Pedestrian Under the Influence. The one who refused to name him was arrested and charged with Obstruction of Police and Underage Possession of Alcohol. The third subject was arrested and charged with Underage Possession of Alcohol and Open Container. All were taken to Milledgeville Police Department.
