At last week’s annual convention of the Southeastern Association of Housing Officers (SEAHO), GC&SU’s Dr. Paul Jahr was awarded the SEAHO Founders’ Award, the Association’s highest honor. This award gives special recognition to an individual who, through dedicated service, has made contributions to the housing/residence life profession that are judged to have been instrumental in furthering the profession.
Jahr has been a national leader in the field of University Housing and Residence Life for many years, serving as the president of professional organizations, as the coordinator of and faculty member in professional management institutes, and as a sought-after national consultant. If you have the opportunity, I hope you’ll join his colleagues in Student Affairs in congratulating him upon his receipt of the University Housing version of a “lifetime achievement award.”
