True diversity, fresh opinion is needed
Dear Editor,
I am writing in reference to both Brian Shreve’s articles in general and to a letter to the editor “True Bigotry Should be Discouraged” by Benjamin Faulkner in the Feb. 3 edition of The Colonnade.
Like Mr. Faulkner, I neither wish to impede on Mr. Shreve’s rights to hold his own opinions and express them, but I do agree with Mr. Faulkner that The Colonnade needs to balance out Shreve’s extreme left- wing politics with a right – wing columnist as well. I haven’t finished reading any of Shreve’s articles since last semester, because I am so tired of what he has to say. Can’t we have some true diversity, and offer both sides of the story? The Colonnade needs a fresh opinion!
Sincerely,
Brianne Cagle
