Loud, drunk student arrested, put behind bars
Jan. 27, 12:58 a.m.: A student reported that there was a disorderly male student in the hallway of a building at Bobcat Village. Officer Williams responded to the scene and made contact with the disorderly student, who appeared very intoxicated and registered .210. The student was arrested and charged with Underage Possession of Alcohol.
Car made airtight, reason unknown
Jan. 26, 3:54 p.m.: Officer Grant was flagged down at Bobcat Village by a student who advised that sometime after 2:00 a.m. unknown person(s) sprayed foam sealer under the passenger door handle and all the way around the hood of his vehicle sealing it shut. There are no suspects at this time. The can of sealer was turned over to the authorities for processing.
Student faints, doesn’t want help
Jan. 25, 5:00 p.m.: A GC&SU employee reported that a student had fainted during aerobics class. Contact was made with the student, who advised she had slightly injured her right shoulder when she fell. The student refused any treatment and was taken back to her dorm and released.

Jan. 27, 11:50 a.m.: A GC&SU employee found some suspected marijuana in a room at Bobcat Village while doing a welfare check on a student. Investigations by police found that the suspected marijuana was sitting on the dining table in the living room of the apartment. Contact was made with the tenant who admitted to the possession of the green leafy substance. The student was given a citation and the suspected marijuana was seized.
As opposed to ‘theft by giving’?
Jan. 28, 12:08 a.m.: Sgt. Ennis observed a vehicle with several occupants parked in the Century Bank parking lot. A check of the tag through GCIC found that the tag had been reported stolen. Contact was made with the passengers in the vehicle and one of them admitted to stealing the plate of a vehicle approximately one month earlier. The man was arrested and charged with Theft by Taking.
