The Second Annual Buffapalooza kicked off Wednesday night at downtown Buffingtons with a blend of beer, cigarette smoke and rock n’ roll.
Call me a closet smoker, but there’s just something embarrassing about lighting up around lots of people.
I feel like I am wearing a big fat sign that reads, “I don’t care about myself or the people around me.”
That might sound a little harsh, but are my closet smoking tendencies really justified or am I being paranoid about how fashionable I look?
Well now I have one more reason to kick the nasty habit.
“Homecookin” is the first promotion from GC&SU Dining Services this semester. The contest was created to remind students and faculty of the comforts of a good home cooked meal.
Sunday night, Jan. 22, foreign sounds from the Emory Gamelan Ensemble filled GC&SU’s A&S Auditorium. Bronze gongs and other instruments rarely seen in American concerts covered the stage.
The GC&SU Outdoor Education Center hosted a gear swap Thursday, Jan. 12 to give outdoor enthusiasts the opportunity to pick up equipment at cheap prices.
