The Bobcat Frisbee Club takes disc sports very seriously. Not even autumn’s premature darkness could stop them from practicing- they have discs that glow in the dark.

Bobcats tip off new season
More than 1100 students, faculty and locals filled the Centennial Center Oct. 14 for GC&SU’s Midnight Madness, the party that signals the start of college basketball practice.

In case you didn’t know – and judging by the ratings, you don’t – the baseball season isn’t over just yet. The playoffs are still going strong with only the NLCS left to determine who will face the Chicago White Sox in the World Series.
Shchupak wins singles, doubles
Ana Shchupak, a senior accounting major, was the first tennis player at GC&SU to win the class A flight doubles and the class A flight singles championships in the same year at the 13th Annual Fall Championships, which were held on Oct. 9.

SGA Happenings, Sigma Alpha Omega, Dean Students Advisory Board
Sigma Alpha Omega requested funds for their annual “Dance to the Beat so Kids Can EAT” costume ball on Friday, Oct. 28. They will be collecting canned goods that are highly encouraged to be donated as the admission price to the costume ball
