SGA Happenings, Sigma Alpha Omega, Dean Students Advisory Board
SGA decided Wednesday to delay discussion on the bill from the College Music Educator’s National Conference and table, or wait to vote for, the bill until the week of Nov. 2 in order to allow the CMNC to calculate the number of those who commit to attending the conference and its profits from the bake sale they held last week and this week in Porter Hall.
Sigma Alpha Omega requested funds for their annual “Dance to the Beat so Kids Can EAT” costume ball on Friday, Oct. 28. They will be collecting canned goods that are highly encouraged to be donated as the admission price to the costume ball. The canned goods will be donated to the GIVE Center, who in return will give them to children’s shelters. The bill will be voted on by the Senate next Wednesday.
