The GC&SU Public Safety Report

* On March 25, at approximately 7:35 p.m., Officer Lance was dispatched to Bobcat Village in reference to a sick student. EMS responded and contact was made with the student’s roommate, who advised that her roommate had been lying on the floor, vomiting and shaking. EMS checked the student’s vital signs and advised that all her vital signs were good. EMS stated that the victim was suffering from a hangover. The student refused transportation to the Oconee Regional Medical Center.

* On March 23, at approximately 12: 53 p.m., a GC&SU employee reported that around 10 a.m. she observed an open vending machine at the Centennial Center. There were no signs of forced entry and the machine was processed for finger prints. This case is under investigation.

* On March 23, at approximately 12:00 p.m., two students observed another student who was attempting to leave a parallel parking space on Greene Street strike the vehicle in front of her two times. The student then drove away from the scene. The witnesses called Public Safety and gave them the tag number of the vehicle. Later in the day contact was made with the student who stated that she did not know she had hit the vehicle. The student was issued a citation for Duty to Report Striking an Unattended Vehicle.
