Lunchtime computing means messy equipment at campus workstations
Editor:
I started school at GC&SU last fall and was immediately impressed with the computer access in Chick-fil-A and Books and Brew. The computers were clean and convenient.
Now, however, the keyboards remind of teeth from a Cheeto-eating five-year-old. For example, I’m cautious when touching the letter “M” on one of the keyboards in Chick-fil-A because it’s surrounded by a mote of red mystery sauce. That same keyboard is also littered with bits of chicken, biscuit and waffle fries. Who needs to buy any food when you have a Chick-fil-A buffet right at your fingertips?
On a serious note, a lot of money was spent to provide computer access in Books and Brew and Chick-fil-A. Therefore, we should do our part as responsible adults and make sure we’re not leaving our breakfast, lunch and dinner behind on the keyboards. A keyboard is not a bib, place mat or drop cloth.
