Welcome back everyone. For many, the new year brings with it an air of excitement, fear and most importantly– resolution.
I am amazed at the amount of people I talked to at random who had a New Year’s resolution. Many of them were the traditional: lose weight, stop smoking or study more.
While dealing with an occurrence that closely resembles true-to-life reports of spiritual communication through radio waves and television lines the new movie, “White Noise,” invariably associates itself with another widely reported inexplicable phenomenon: missing time.
Students, faculty, staff and community partners experienced all the new Student Activities Center has to offer at the Grand Opening festivities this week.
Entertainment included comedians, tournaments, live music and dancing which showcased how the facility can be used and what students can expect in the future.
The Georgia College and State University art faculty held their opening night for the faculty art exhibit Jan. 20 at Blackbridge Hall Gallery to celebrate the recent growth and exciting future of the art department.
The “Euphonium” faculty concert featuring Dr. Maureen Horgan and Dr. Richard Mercier opened Monday evening at Georgia College & State University’s Max Noah Recital Hall.
Eight on-campus groups have collaborated to bring speakers, assemblies, movie nights and a GC&SU Idol competition in February to commemorate Black History Month.
