GC&SU Public Safety Report

* On November 7, 2004 at approximately 12:42 a.m., a man reported to Public Safety by phone that a vehicle had thrown an egg at his vehicle while he was traveling on Greene Street. Mr. McCuen followed the vehicle to Pecan Blvd., where all the occupants exited the vehicle and ran on foot away from the area. Officer Yates and Officer Tuft made contact with the driver and advised him that he was responsible for any damages caused to Mr. McCuen’s vehicle.

* On November 10, 2004 at approximately 10:00 a.m., an employee reported that unknown person(s) removed the “Coca-Cola” lettering from the wall of MSU. There are no suspects at this time.

* On November 13, 2004 at approximately 6:24 p.m., Officer Williams was assisting a student jump her vehicle in the Bell Lot. After removing the battery cables from the battery, the vehicle lurched forward and ran over Officer Williams foot. It took the student four attempts to get the vehicle out of gear and roll the vehicle off his foot.

* On November 19, 2004, at approximately 1:30 p.m., an employee reported damage to the wall separating the men’s and women’s locker rooms in Health Sciences Building. Someone knocked approximately an 8″ x 10″ hole through the wall and stood a ladder up to the hole from the men’s locker room side. Damage to the wall is estimated at approximately $50.00. Photos were taken of the damage.

* On November 22, 2004 at approximately 8:30 a.m., an employe, came to Public Safety to turn in a bag containing a green leafy substance believed to be marijuana that she found in the Bell Parking Lot. The marijuana was placed in the evidence locker.

* On November 11, 2004 at approximately 2:25 p.m., an employee reported that while using the weed eater near the Governors Mansion, a rock was thrown and a window pane on the rear outhouse building was shattered.
