SAI in search of ” Sexy Legs” for breast cancer awareness
Which professor has the sexiest legs at Georgia College & State University? Sigma Alpha Iota intends to answer that very question with a unique contest.
SAI, GC&SU’s professional music fraternity for women, is holding its second annual “Mr. Sexy Legs” contest during the week of Oct. 25-29.
SAI will take pictures of 10 male professors showing off their sexy legs and will set up a table on front campus Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Students can vote by putting spare change in jars under their favorite set of legs. The professor who raises the most money will win the coveted title of “Mr. Sexy Legs.”
“This is a great way for students and professors to get involved in something fun. SAI raised a lot of money the last time we did the ‘Mr. Sexy Legs’ contest,” said committee chair Megan Green. All money raised will go to help fund SAI service projects.
Psychology professor Dr. John Lindsay said he’s got the competition cinched up.
“I don’t think I have the sexiest legs, I know I have the sexiest legs,” he said.
Lindsay has his work cut out for him.
“I’m a hunky dude,” said English professor Robert Viau. “I have a cool Macedonian star tattoo that I designed myself.”
Along with professors Viau and Lindsey, Richard Mercier, Jared Johnson and Gerald Adkins will be among those competing.
Chris Hendley, a GC&SU music professor won last year.
Students will find out the winner of the contest on the InfoPage at the end of the week.
Sigma Alpha Iota is involved in other service projects throughout the year including the Breast Cancer Awareness Musicale held Oct. 9 in which the sisters raised over $550 for the Susan G. Komen Foundation.
