Public Safety Report

* On Oct. 13, at approximately 4:09 p.m., a female student was backing out of a parking space in Lot #12 and struck a parked vehicle. The female student then left the scene. Another student witnessed the accident and left a note on the damaged parked vehicle with the description and tag number of the female student’s vehicle. The owner of the damaged vehicle then contacted public safety and the female student was given a citation for Leaving the Scene of an Accident.

* On Oct. 15, at approximately 2 p.m., a student advised that while he was in the Arts & Sciences building, he believes that someone took his cell phone out of his pocket while he was walking down the hall or in the elevator. The phone is valued at $200.

* On Oct. 18, at approximately 7:50 a.m., an employee reported that between Oct. 6 and Oct. 18, an unknown person(s) wrote vulgar graffiti on her office dry erase board at Chappell hall.

* On Oct. 18, at approximately 12:17 p.m., a female student reported that between Oct. 15 and 12 p.m. Oct. 18, unknown person(s) removed a clarinet from a locked locker in Porter Hall. There are no suspects at this time.

* On Oct. 19, at approximately 2:14 a.m., a male student reported that he left his door open in Terrell Hall while he was playing cards down the hall and when he returned, he noticed that his cell phone was missing from its charger. There are no suspects at this time.
