College Republicans
The GC&SU College Republicans are currently collecting signatures in support of a thank you letter written to leaders of nations that have contributed support to Operation Iraqi Freedom.
Students interested in participating should visit the College Republicans information table Wednesday Oct. 27 near the fountain or contact Chris Hicks, communications director of the GC&SU College Republicans at chris_hicks@bobcat.gcsu.edu.
The GIVE Center
Do you like to volunteer? Are you up for a challenge? The GIVE Center is looking for 10 individuals and 10 groups to take on the President’s Volunteer Service Award challenge. Individuals ages 15 and older must complete 100 hours of volunteer service and groups must complete 200 or more hours of volunteer service within a 12 month period. Winners will receive a certificate of achievement, a signed letter of congratulations and an official President’s Award pin. GC&SU Art
The GC&SU Department of Art and Arts Unlimited will present an exhibit by Larry Walker, part of the Visual Legacies Series, Sept. 27 – Oct. 29 at the Blackbridge Hall Gallery.
Gallery hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. Blackbridge Hall Gallery is located on South Clarke Street, across the street from the Old Governor’s Mansion.

John Sallstrom Blood Drive
