Excess detours made worthwhile

Editor:

It only seems like yesterday that the area of the on-campus bookstore was closed for construction and we can all recall the detour route(s) taken to get to Chick-fil-A, The Pit and MSU.

Now that phase three of the MSU project is nearing completion, it is exciting to see what has been done so far with the extended patio, handicap access, additional lighting and emergency poles.

GC&SU and affiliates have been working tirelessly to provide us with a more comfortable learning environment: the new Residence halls, MSU project, Library and the Methodist Church that is currently under construction, just to name the more obvious.

Most of these projects have caused some sort of inconvenience, but we may all agree that the end result is always worth the wait. Now that the on-campus bookstore and surrounding area will soon reopen, I’m certain that it will offer a more relaxed and pleasing environment.

We are truly a campus with a vision.
