Student: Republicans teach Americans to how to fish

Editor:

What can I say about this election that you haven’t heard ten times before? What can I say about George W. Bush that you have not already heard? Can I sway you with a fact or with a quote?

If you’re like the vast majority of Americans, the answer is no.

So what then is this election about? Has political landscape become so foggy, so muddy that the real leaders, the stand up guys, those of us who do what is right regardless of popularity are few and far between?

I believe these leaders are all around us but the problem lies not in our leaders, but in a minority of the American people. Quickly, we are becoming a society that wants everything to be nice, clean, neat, easy, good, bad, cheap and popular and that will never work. To recognize the need for a common belief in what is right and wrong is the key to America’s future and to our freedom.

What does it say about our country when Bill Clinton cheated on his wife and then became more popular? What does it say about the people who would rather have John Kerry, Ted Kennedy, Al Gore, Bill Clinton, Michael Moore and the news media look good and lie than have George W. Bush look bad and tell the truth?

The old democrat adage is “well, people are good, they just need a chance” and to that I can only say Osama Bin Laden, Jeffrey Dahmer, Adolph Hitler, Saddam Hussein, John Wayne Gacey, Ted Bundy and the list goes on and on. To recognize the problems this country faces you must first see that evil does exist in this world and that it is a thing that those in the left will never come to grips with.

Why do democrats prey on the weak, why do they prey on the uneducated? Because people want to hear “oh, it’s not your fault”, people want to hear “the government should take care of you,” well that’s not on the Republican agenda, folks.

Republicans want to help Americans. We want to teach you how to fish, not just give it to you. We want you to feel the joy, self-respect and appreciation of a hard day’s work. We want you to believe that America is the beacon that lights the world, not the tyrant that holds it back. We believe that you know how to spend your money better than the Federal Government. With that being said, ask yourself this: why is it that what is good for America is bad for John Kerry? Why is this united party’s battle cry “anybody but Bush?” The Democratic Party is like a new car buyer that went into a dealership so anxious to buy a new car they came out with the first pretty thing they saw. The only problem is that in politics there is no lemon law. In politics you can’t return your candidate after you realize he’s no good.

So what now democrats? Maybe another smear movie. I hear Sean Penn is available. Another tell-all book perhaps? I’m sure CBS would lend a hand. Or better yet, just sit back and be thankful George W. Bush is protecting your freedom to be 100 percent wrong.
