Fellow Students,
As you may be aware, GC&SU is facing a $1.076 million budget cut this academic year. Student Government is very concerned about how the University budget cut will affect students. We want you to know that we are doing everything we can to ensure that as little of the burden as possible falls upon the students. The possible mid-year tuition increase that may result is of great concern to us. It is the policy of Student Government that, while budget cuts are an unfortunate necessity, these cuts should not come at a dual cost to students. SGA will do everything in our power to ensure that the effect and cost to students is as minimal as possible. If you have any questions or concerns about the budget situation, please do not hesitate to contact us in our office at 445-2795 or by email at student.government@gcsu.edu.
