For the upcoming academic year the Vice President’s position is vacant. We are holding the Vice President’s election this Fall in conjunction with the Senate election. The requirements to run for this office are: (1) 30 completed semester hours of which 20 must have been completed at GC&SU (2) have served as Senator for at least one semester in good standing.

Applications are available in the SGA office in Maxwell Student Union room 129-B, close to the Student Activities office. The requirements are a 2.3 GPA and good standing with the University (incoming freshman don’t have to worry about the GPA until spring semester). If elected, to maintain membership in the Senate, each legislative officer will be required to attend the Senate session (held Thursday from 3:30-4:30 PM), attend their committee meeting each week, as well as serving one office hour a week.
