Russell Library opens for business

On August 9, nearly eight months after its closing, Georgia College & State University’s Ina Dillard Russell Library and Information Technology Center will open its doors.

The library will offer its full list of services including GIL Express, GALILEO Databases, JSTOR & Project Muse, Special Collections, Government Documents and Interlibrary loan.

Though the library’s open hours will be limited due to a lack of staff, the schedule will expand during the year.

Currently, the Info Tech Center, located on the bottom floor of the library is open 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Thursday, Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., 2 p.m to 6 p.m. on Saturday and 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday. Starting Aug. 23 the Info Tech Center will be open 24-hours a day.
