“The Corinthian” is the Journal of Student Research at Georgia College & State University, sponsored by the Office of Experiential Learning and funded by the Office of Academic Affairs. It is published in the fall of each year and is edited by a student editor and a student assistant editor.

* According to the Atlanta Journal Constutitution, a Louisville man was killed in a freak accidcent near Marietta on the night of Aug. 30.
The 21-year-old driver, John Kemper Hutcherson, was driving drunk when his long-time friend, 23-year-old Francis Daniel Brohm, who had also been drinking, hung his head out the window of the vehicle and was decapitated by a telephone pole support wire.
