Joy to the World

Well, here it is readers – my first and last editorial column for The Colonnade. I asked Ryan to give me a column this issue so that I can say a few good-byes, now that I am graduating and moving on.
To Ryan Schomber – my “editor at large,” Schomber-She – I never dreamed that you and I would become good friends. I admire your passion and dedication to this paper – thanks for all you have done … it doesn’t go unnoticed. I will also always be grateful to you for taking care of me that night … Cowboy Bill’s, yeah, what a night! Remember that I am ALWAYS up for a nice cold beer!
To Bo Shell – love you honey! You have SO much potential as a writer, as an editor and as a leader. I know that your next year of The Colonnade will be a successful one. You are amazing!
To Rich Hardwick – Better known as Vick … what can I say ? You always bring a smile to my face. What will you do when I leave Zaxby’s? I am truly glad to call you my friend. You are an amazing person and very sweet, when you want to be! I’ll miss helping you pick out music to listen to on Wednesdays!
To Jenny Weiss – You are such a wonderful and pure person, and I admire your faith and dedication to not only the Lord, but to The Colonnade. You are amazing on so many levels — and I never really got to thank you for our conversation we had in the Dallas airport. You helped me to look at life in a different light. Thank you!
To Victoria and Danielle – - I love you girls! I ALWAYS enjoyed talking with you girls, and I am very thankful for all you did for The Colonnade. You are both amazing — I will miss you both dearly!
To Michael — you are quite a character! The little bit of time I got to spend with you was always filled with laughter. Wear that Zaxby’s visor with pride, buddy!
To David Johnson — I really appreciate your enthusiasm and dedication to The Colonnade this year. You have A LOT of print experience that has proven to be beneficial to our organization here at GC&SU. You will be missed! Thank you!
To everyone who was involved with The Colonnade this year – staff writers, photographers, etc., THANK YOU! You have made the last two years so much fun!
