Spring is here, and open-toed shoes are everywhere. Unfortunately, so are some gross looking feet. Nothing is more relaxing than slipping into a comfy pair of flip flops on a hot day and walking out the door to class. Before you head out the door, do us all a favor and look at the toes that are helping you get there.
If you’re like me, it might be hard to see the beauty in a foot. I personally hate feet, but I still get down and give them a shine, or at least pay someone to do it for me.
Even if you have not-so-cute feet, that’s no excuse for not keeping them clean and groomed. I’m talking to the guys, too. Just because you’re a guy, it doesn’t give you the excuse to have disgusting feet. At least go the extra mile and clean them well and, especially, keep them trimmed.
Pedicures are a necessity, especially in the summer. Make it a priority to visit your local salon and devote some time to your feet. If you can’t afford a pedicure, or you just don’t have the time, invest in some problem solving foot essentials. Foot scrubs and lotions are the perfect start to your fresh step! Next comes the clippers and polish. Make sure you keep your toenails cut short. They’re not fingernails, and long toenails are disgusting. When it comes to paint, choose a cool summery color that fits your style. Pinks are a super hot summer shade right now. If you’re not comfortable with a bright color, at least make the effort to do the cleaning and apply a light, even, clear coat of polish.
You might need to call upon the services of a qualified foot specialist if you have funky feet. From toes that throw up gang signs to chipped off toenail polish, spring cleaning of feet is essential. I think that many people share the same sentiment as I do when it comes to feet. Quite honestly, if you can’t keep your dogs straight, you might need to stick with a sneaker that hides your finicky foot dilemmas.
