Soulshine relaxes customers

In the window of Milledgeville’s laid-back coffee and gift shop Soulshine, hangs a sign that states its hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., with Saturday’s hours to be announced.
“I should really change the sign from ten o’clock to around ten o’clock,” Mick Rehberg said, who runs the store with his wife, Toodle.

Lady ‘Cats drop two to KSU

The No. 1 ranked Kennesaw State University women’s softball team kept its 37-game winning streak alive, holding off Georgia College & State University Tuesday afternoon for 4-2 and 3-2 victories in a Peach Belt Conference doubleheader at Owl Field.
In game one, Jenna Kubesch put the Lady Bobcats on the board early with a first inning suicide squeeze bunt, scoring Aundrea Baker from third to take the 1-0 lead.

After going 18-1 against Division I opponents in the previous two tournaments, the Georgia College & State University golf team hopes to flex their irons toward the field in the Bobcat Invitational.
