Lopez and Affleck engagement is officially over

On Thursday, Jan. 22, it was announced that “Bennifer” is officially over.
Jennifer Lopez dumped Ben Affleck for good, four months after they postponed their wedding in California. Some say she was tired of waiting for Ben to come around to getting married and starting a family; others say she was tired of his likings for nightclubs and gambling.

“The Last Samurai” lives up to critics’ high expectations

“The Last Samurai” has been advertised as one of the best movies of the year. Talk show hosts and critics could not say enough about their expectations of the film. Part of the appeal to the movie is the war hero character atypical for Tom Cruise. Although “Top Gun” and “Mission Impossible” provided a glimpse into Cruise as an action hero, “The Last Samurai” provided a somewhat different action character for Cruise.

CAB offers variety of events with Bobcat Nights

The Campus Activities Board offers excitement for Georgia College & State University students through upcoming Bobcat Nights.
CAB hosts its first of three Bobcat Nights Friday, Jan. 30 with “Game Show Mania,” where students have the opportunity to play different game shows like the “Tune In Game Show,” which is a cross between “Name that Tune” and “Jeopardy.
