Imagine studying Indian history and culture as you sit on the steps of the Taj Mahal. Picture learning about social change in West Africa from a remote fishing village in Ghana. Imagine taking introductory courses in the Chinese language as you gape at the enormity of The Great Wall.
The International Education Center can help you turn these dreams into a reality. Georgia College & State University offers twenty-five different study abroad programs in thirty-five different countries that range in length from ten days to eight weeks.
What if you want to go to China, but cannot speak Chinese? Don’t worry if you cannot speak the native language of the country where you wish to study. If you are eligible, the HOPE Scholarship will pay for the cost of tuition for studying abroad. Also, check out the Weir/Wells Scholarships, they might be able to save you some money.
