The Voice

Elizabeth Cone wrote a couple of features and also wrote The Voice. She is always very happy and enthusiastic and brought a certain energy to the office. She also spearheaded the Mass Communication Relay For Life Team. Thank you for all of the memorable times and the apartment.

She is a dedicated and dependable person. Those traits showed when she orchestrated the fundraisers for the Mass Communication program Relay For Life team. She is also a sweet person. When the Colonnade took a trip to Orlando, Florida for a conference, I got to room with her. I truly enjoyed it. Elizabeth is certainly an up-beat person. I have a feeling she will go far in the real world. Good luck to her.

Over the past two years, Elizabeth Cone has made my job easier. Her uplifting attitude is always a joy to be around, but more importantly, Conehead always carries a smile. I will miss Elizabeth, but I know she will do an outstanding job in the future. Whatever task is presented to Elizabeth, I feel that she will be able to conquer it. Good Luck, Conehead and best of luck in the future.

I just got to know Elizabeth Cone this semester, but I have always been impressed with her writing in “The Voice.” I was even more impressed when I got to know her and saw how dedicated she is to all of the things that she takes on. I wish Elizabeth the best of luck in her future career and life. I know that she will be successful in all that she does.

I will never forget meeting Elizabeth Cone the first day of Freshman Seminar in 1999. She was young and enthusiastic, and she has maintained that spirit throughout her years here at GC&SU. I AM PROUD OF YOU, and I will miss you! — Carter

Liz Beth, I am really going to miss you next semester. However, I know you will be successful in whatever you choose to do in life. You are one of the most intelligent and ambitious women I have ever met. You have always been such an encouragement to me. I am going to miss our “Amici chats,” late night cookie bakes, hard body dates, and two block car rides. Thank you for being such a wonderful friend. Good luck and Congratulations! I love you.

I didn’t really get a chance to know Elizabeth Cone until this year, and boy did I miss out. She is a wonderful person with a large heart. She comes into The Colonnade and immediately brightens everyone’s day. She worked her butt off for Relay For Life and is always going the extra step to help The Colonnade staff make the best paper ever. What can I say, She is truly an award winner and will be missed.
