The Voice
Several of you may not know that The Colonnade editor-in-chief position for 2003-2004 has been up for grabs. Applicants wanting to be editor-in-chief have been going through serious application processes, including question-and-answer forms about what each individual would do as editor-in-chief next year and serious interviews. The interview included a panel of five interviewers-three professors and two students.
After much waiting and anticipation, The Colonnade staff now knows who its editor-in-chief will be.
We’d like to share the news with our readers and announce that Ryan Schomber, current editor-in-chief of the The Colonnade, has been selected once again to reign over the paper.
The staff congratulates Ryan and looks forward to next year.
For those of you who don’t know Mr. Schomber, let us tell you why he makes a good editor. With a sense of humor that could have some rolling on the ground, Schomber makes working for the paper an extremely enjoyable experience. He’s a true people-person and able to relate to pretty much anyone.
Set by the editor himself, the mood in The Colonnade office is generally fun-spirited and light. We always look forward to coming to work on this fab paper.
With his experience as current editor, we know he’ll make an even better one next year. He knows what it takes, and he’s got it. He’s definitely ready to tackle next year. You, the readers, should expect an extraordinary year of The Colonnade.
Schomber has led the staff of The Colonnade through this year with much professionalism, great delegation and leadership. We’d like to thank him, and again, congratulate him.
Here’s to next year!
