Letter to the Editor
Editor,
Elizabeth Anne Rhim was killed in a tragic car accident early Friday morning. But to me and many other people on campus, our friend Beth was taken from us much too early. Beth was a member and officer of the Delta Zeta Sorority. But her death isn’t just affecting the sisters of DZ. It has affected everyone who knew her and even those who didn’t.
As for myself, I met Beth when she was in the 8th grade. At the time she seemed shy, but I saw her come out of her shell in high school, and I definitely enjoyed her humor during lunch. Then she came to Georgia College & State University and found her place with Delta Zeta. Beth was such a beautiful person…not only that…she was hilarious and always had a smile on her face. Although I was not a close friend to Beth, she was still a friend. I will miss her and will never forget her. And even if you didn’t know her, please realize it could have been any one of us. It seems like no matter how much you hear it, it’s hard to live each day to the fullest, but you really never know what might happen. Beth, you will truly be missed.
