Things that make me go hmmm…

I was sitting on the front porch of my dorm hall Tuesday afternoon, thinking about a topic for my column. All the ideas I came up with just didn’t seem interesting enough. And then I saw it, the topic of my column. Strolling by, as if they were God’s gift to women, were six guys. They had their Oakley’s on, their hats on backwards and the clincher: their pants down to the back of their knees. I laughed so hard. These guys thought they looked so cool. But I have a little secret for you, gentlemen: You look ridiculous! Maybe no one has told you, but wearing your pants below your gluteus maximus isn’t at all appealing.

Guys, do you know how that “style,” if you can even call it that, came about? Well, I do, and I’m going to share this information with you. It began in prison. That way, the other men wouldn’t have to guess who the homosexuals were, and they would know who to go to for “loving.” These men were also called punks.

So, gentlemen, if you want to wear your pants below your posterior, go right ahead. And if you want to look ridiculous and be considered a punk, be my guest. Ladies do not find it sexy that you wear your pants below the belt, and it is definitely not a turn on.

Men, or guys rather, please do us ladies a favor and buy pants that fit. It would be much sexier than watching you walk away with pants that fit rather than laughing at you tripping over your pants. We’d all appreciate it!
