Things that make me go Hmmm…

I was taking a walk on campus last Saturday afternoon, and it was cold so I was all bundled up. I had on a down jacket, hat, gloves, the whole nine yards. And walking towards me were four girls, wearing tiny shorts, halter-tops and flip-flops. Here it is, mid forties, wind chill biting, the wind going at about 15 mph and these girls were dressed as though we were in the middle of a heat wave.

Now, I am all about fashion and trends and looking good, but come on ladies, aren’t these outfits a little much for the middle of January? Girls, let’s think about this. Would we rather catch pneumonia, or look good bundled up while coming across like we do have common sense?

Guys know to dress warm when it’s cold, but when females dress for the summer in the winter time, then it makes the whole female gender look ridiculous.

Women do something else that blow my mind. I was sitting in the cafeteria with my fianc?, and saw this big group of girls, prancing in front of a table full of guys. They had their hair done, their makeup a little too overdone and wore very revealing clothes, mini skirts, tank tops, the works,and here the guys were, in jeans, sweatshirts and toboggans. Then the girls went to the salad bar and each of them got a little bowl of salad and sat at the table right next to the guys. They proceeded to complain about how fat they are, when each of the girls knew she is not.

Ladies, have some pride in yourselves. If you’re hungry, then eat. If
you’re cold, put some clothes on. A guy will notice you if you dress with sense and eat healthy. If you want to stuff your mouth full of pizza, go for it. Guys will think it’s sexy, a lot sexier than a girl who picks at her food like a bird.

Enjoy life, enjoy yourself and enjoy being a girl. Be yourself and be that to the fullest. Guys find that to be the sexiest trait a girl can have. I know, I’ve asked them. So, dress for the season, stuff your face if you please and last but not least, let your common sense take over instead of degrading yourself with your stupidity.
