GC&SU asks for nominations of influential professors
Do you think you have a great teacher?
Do you have, or have you had, a professor who has helped you in your efforts to excel? Do you have, or have you had a professor who has pushed you to the limits and helped you come out on top?
If you have a professor who has shown a great willingness and ability to make your college career successful, then please take a minute to say thank you. One of the best ways you could do this would be to nominate him/her for an award. A nomination for this award in teaching excellence is a great honor in itself
This is one of the nicest ways to show your appreciation for a professor’s hard work and extra effort. If you have a professor who you consider excellent, please take the time to make your nomination.
To make your nomination and to complete the paperwork needed for this most prized recognition you should either: contact that teacher’s department chair or dean by email, phone or personal office visit and ask them to help you fill out the paperwork (they have received a copy of this information can assist you in compiling the documentation) or contact one of the persons below (they are members of the Awards Committee) and they will help you fill out the paperwork.
