From the Editors

We are living in our last days, the last days of this semester, that is.
Spring Break has come and gone, and we are all trying to get through with all of those last minute projects and papers, while at the same time preparing for final exams.
It seems that every year, after Spring Break, papers start piling up, projects are due, and every thing that could ever go wrong, does.
I know from personal experience that I get really stressed out during this time of year. It seems like the work I actually get gone does not compare to the work I have to do, it’s a never-ending cycle.
Although I know that most people probably feel the same, I have to remember that it would not be college if hard work were not a principle factor.
But it seems that now more than ever, the year has flown by. Although we are just in the beginning of spring it seems that within the past seven months we have gone through astonishing events that have shaped the way we think about everything.
After September 11, I have been really been trying to look at the bigger picture in life. Although I did not personally know anyone who died during the attack I joined many other Americans in praying for those whose lives were lost.
I have been trying to appreciate all of the good things in life, because as we saw on Sept. 11, anything can happen, even the unimaginable.
By saying this, I want everyone to think of everything that we have gone through and are still going through when things get a little rough.
When the school work starts piling up and you have two 10-page papers due, and you feel that you are at the end of your rope; just remember everything that we have gone through.
Remember the people who died on Sept. 11, but also think of all of the positive things that have occurred because of it. Think about the fact that an entire nation came together during a time of need.
So when things start to get tough, try to take the good with the bad, and think about the bigger things in life.
