When life gets a little hectic

Life is full of ups and downs.not to mention the in-betweens. We are all plugging along in our classes or at work while we experience whatever comes up in any given day.
Being college students, we all look forward to graduation day with anticipation. But the catch is all of the stress that comes along with it.
This is your warning. Be prepared for all of the costs that come along with graduation. You have the graduation application fee, you have to pay for your invitations, pictures if you want them, and, of course, a class ring if you so desire. The good news is that your cap and gown are included in the graduation application fee.
I know it isn’t great to think about actually having to work because you have to give up our college sleeping habits, but the time has come for seniors to get a job. Hopefully, you have already secured a job so that you know some money will be coming your way. At this point in time, with the job market not being at its best, that is probably not the case with the majority of the students. Finding a job is not as easy as some may think. Of course your college degree will help, and networking will help A LOT!
In On Off Campus magazine, Diane M. Fenning wrote a list of the top ten job search strategies. She encourages job hunters to volunteer to keep up their networking skills and adds a quote, “If you are not networking.you are not working.”
Life is a roller coaster. There are lots of ups and downs, twists and turns, and just when you think it has calmed down you are jolted with a surprise.
I know there are some people in the same boat that I am in right now. On top of everything that is going on at school, I am planning a wedding. I know, cry me a bucket, right? But it is tough. My fianc? lives almost two hours away, so we only see each other on the weekends. During that time we try to plan what we need to, spend time with our families and spend time with our friends while I catch up on class work and search for jobs in the classifieds.
While searching for a job, I have to keep in mind the fact that my fianc? already has a job that he loves, so we can’t move so far away that he can’t commute. We want to look at houses, but we don’t know where to look or in what price range, so that will have to come later. If I could secure a job, all of the guesswork could be taken out, and we could both relax a little more.
You are probably thinking I need to quit my complaining and be happy that I am engaged. You’re right. After all, I, along with everyone else that is engaged, married or in a serious relationship, need to remember that everything will fall into place. We are, after all, going to spend the rest of our lives living happily ever after.unless, of course, the roller coaster takes another sudden turn.
